Additional validation prompts may also be shown for mandatory fields. [\/ht_message]\r\n\r\nIn addition to the mandatory items shown above, each user must have at least one role allocated to them.\r\n\r\nContact details, professional codes and details about a user's contractual relationship can all be added to their user profile in Docman.\r\n\r\n[ht_message mstyle=\"info\" title=\"Adding an email account to a user profile\" \" show_icon=\"true\" id=\"\" class=\"\" style=\"\" ]It's a really great idea to add an email address for the user to their profile. This means if they need to reset their password, they can do it without help from a system administrator![\/ht_message]\r\n<h3>Edit a user profile<\/h3>\r\nEdit is one of the quick options available from the actions on the user list. \u00a0You can also choose to use the selected user to copy and create a new user profile (you'll need to make sure the username is unique if you do this!). \u00a0Or you could select the user name from the list to launch the user's profile to edit.\r\n\r\n<a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/EdiyUser.png\"><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-2701 size-large\" title=\"Click on image for expanded view\" src=\"http:\/\/docmanhelp.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/EdiyUser-1024x535.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"643\" height=\"336\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\nOnce you've update the user profile, you can use the update action at the bottom of the screen to confirm your changes and return to the list.\r\n<h3>Make a user inactive<\/h3>\r\nIf a user has left the practice or is on leave and you'd like to remove them from the selection lists in Docman, you can choose to make them inactive. \u00a0There are two ways you can do this:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Use the quick action from the user list<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Launch the user profile by selecting the name from the list and change the user status within the profile<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nIn both scenarios, a reason is required.\r\n\r\n<strong>PLEASE NOTE:\u00a0<\/strong>It is your responsibility to ensure ex-users are made inactive within Docman 10 as soon as they leave the practice.","tags":[]}]}
