Duplicating Documents

When filing a patient record,  occasionally there will be a need to file the same record to more than one patient.

In this scenario, we have a couple who’s names are Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. They both need the document filing against them, this can be done, one of two ways.

Method 1 – Filing and Adding to Clipboard

1. Select the document from the filing screen as shown below.

2. Click the “File Document”

3. Under the file document menu, expand the “Create Review” Drop down and select “Add to Document Clipboard” as shown below. Once you have set “Add to Document Clipboard”, continue to file as normal to the desired patient

4. Once filed, search for the second patient you want to file the record to and click on the Document clipboard on the middle right hand side of the screen.

5. Once you have clicked on the “Document Clipboard” option the screen below will appear. Select the record that you copied to the clipboard and click the “Duplicate” button. The record will now be stored in the “Latest Document” folder of the patient you selected.

Method 2 – Duplicate Record Once Filed

If the document has already been filed, open the patient > select the document and click add to clipboard and follow the below steps.

1. Once filed, search for the second patient you want to file the record to and click on the Document clipboard on the middle right hand side of the screen.

2. Once you have clicked on the “Document Clipboard” option the screen below will appear. Select the record that you copied to the clipboard and click the “Duplicate” button. The record will now be stored in “Latest Document” folder of the patient you selected.
